British doll artist Jane Davies has spent the last 40 years developing and perfecting her artist dolls. (The definition of “artists doll” varies considerably. For Jane it means that the doll is designed, sculpted & made by her alone in her own unique style.) She has built a worldwide reputation both for the artistry of her work and her contribution to the promotion of dolls as an art form including her role as President of the National Institute of American Doll Artists (2001-2003).
Jane’s dolls are displayed in private collections, museums and art galleries across the world.
